Great blog Ray.

Myself, I haven’t figured out what to do with my life. I’m in my early thirties, and I feel it’s time to get myself together and find my way in life, what career to have. The problem is that I have too many interests, so it’s actually a bit frustrating not knowing the exact path. What I do know is I have always wanted to do something creative for a living.

So like in the blog, I’ll also tell you what I want, what I really really want.
I want to be a photographer, I want to be a graphic artist, I want to live in, Monaco, I want to be rich, I want to pilot a plane, I want to own a vineyard…and the list goes on and on.

To tell you all the truth, since primary school I actually haven’t figured out what to do with my life yet. I have started on a bunch of different educations, but either it was not the right one, or when I did choose the right one, it’s not possible to get an internship. Here in Denmark, you have to have an internship at a company before you can start on the second part of the education. The last two educations I went to, where in the creative area, so I know that’s where my future lies.

So it’s hard to figure out the future, but I guess I’m not the only one in the world with my problem.

To sum it up, I guess I need a Guru, or a good kick in the buttocks.

Holy crap Ray! I was doing like 90% of software engineers are doing while working, searching and browsing internet ..and popped into MTV VJ list. Well, first person I remembered was Paul King. Then I started wondering who was that weirdo young guy with some puppet who actually was funny. Well, you can guess! Damn good to read how life has threthen you guys over the years. Actually I popped into Simones blog and read that through..and then there was Q&A´s for former MTV VJ´s … haha nice way to spend your day

Guess what Ray! I got to use about half of my working day to find out hows YOUR life nowadays! I bet you feel proud of our past, you are still involved of peoples life like myself (teen in the 90´s)

Completely awesome post, to overuse an overused turn of phrase. Cannot wait to track down your televised beer guide (Michael will particularly be interested). You never fail to make me laugh, Ray. This post is so accurate and honest (again) and that exactly is your charm. Your indecisiveness can be frustrating and infuriating, but at least you never pretend. You are you, with all your foibles and strengths mashed up into what we all know is Ray Cokes. And at least it makes you into a true ‘one off’.

I, for one, am kinda happy that you are not throwing the towel in just yet. You still have more to give to the world of entertainment (as nasty as that world often is). You will get to a point when you truly know ‘that’s it…I’m done with that’. And I guess that moment is not here yet.

Good luck with whatever you decide, just try to stick with a decision long enough to reap the rewards, okay?
